At Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg, we want our guests to enjoy a great time of fun, entertainment and relaxation from the everyday norm. We may not be Vegas, but we definitely know what our guests like and that is exactly what we continue to do. Over the past few months, we have had a whirlwind of events, and held the first ever Summer Concert Series with top names like Michael Ray, Everclear and Indigenous.
Kicking off the series on July 22, 2023, Country Music star Michael Ray took the main stage as the Headliner singing his top hits. Not only did Michael Ray bring a whole lot of heart-felt country to the stage, he involved the audience with great enthusiasm. Giving Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg a shout out, Michael Ray said, “Wisconsin, y’all know how to party! Thanks for singing along to every single word.” His opening act, Tenille Townes also provided some great excitement and radiant energy to get the crowd pumped. Guests had a blast, enjoyed an amazing performance, and continued their evening on the gaming floor with the Frank Childress Band. Some even had the pleasure to hang out with Michael Ray in person as he walked the gaming floor.
The legendary, and incomparable, Everclear took over Wittenberg’s attention so much on August 26, 2023, that local bars and establishments closed so they could attend the much-anticipated concert! With a packed and captive audience, Everclear performed their famed songs such as Santa Monica, Father of Mine, I Will Buy You A New Life and Wonderful. Many fans sang along, danced, screamed and cheered the band on throughout the night. When it was time for a wrap, a 10-minute encore was just what the fans wanted! The opening band, Inferred, did not disappoint with their punk, alt, grunge and rock hits! As one guest said, “You guys rocked the house!” After the show, guests packed the gaming floor while Inferred played with their amazing energy until midnight.
On September 9, 2023, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg was pleased to end the summer concert series with two bands that came from different parts of the country. The South Dakota originating band Indigenous, featuring lead singer Mato Nanji, is a blues/rock band that slays on the acoustics. After ten years of touring from the East Coast to the West Coast, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg was excited to have the band make an appearance in the area. Opening for Indigenous was a New Orleans band named Drab, another group with soulful vocals and heavy-bluesy guitar riffs to match the atmosphere. The Bobby Evans Band provided a great show on the gaming floor to end the night.
The first ever Summer Concert Series took a lot of planning internally as well as externally, and Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg is grateful for the many hands that went into making this a possibility. In order for us to help serve our community with this amazing entertainment while helping to boost the local economy, we could not do it without assistance of the following businesses and organizations. A special thank you to Fireworks Country, King’s Campers, UWSP Cheer team, Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School, The Wittenberg Area Fire Department, Schairer Farms, and the Ostrowski Family. Many a thank you goes out to our food vendors, T&C Lanes, Boriken Mat, Tacos Tones, Nuttin But Butts and Mama Krissy. Thank you to the Wittenberg Area Ambulance, who willingly provided emergency and first responder presence during each of our concerts with fantastic and awe inspired selflessness.

Members of the Wittenberg Ambulance took time out of their schedule this summer to provide on-site emergency services during Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg’s Summer Concert Series. Along with providing vigilance over concertgoers and staff alike, a 50/50 fundraising raffle was administered by Wittenberg Ambulance volunteers. The raffle earnings are going to purchase a new LIFEPAK 15 cardiac monitor. The device allows emergency responders the ability to attend to patients on the spot of an emergency and allows patients to remain where they are, bringing the ability to be monitored by a cardiac device to them.
Along with Wittenberg Ambulance, providing services for all three of Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg’s summer concerts, Wittenberg Fire Department volunteers took to lending a helping hand for stage tear down for the last concert. The Fire Department members showed great support in their willingness to do some heavy lifting in order to help break down the stage. The show of kindness and hard work was an outstanding example of a group of people who stand to serve those around them.
In gratitude for Wittenberg Area Ambulance and Fire’s attentiveness and willingness to step in when needed, and in recognition of the invaluable service provided to Wittenberg and surrounding areas, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg takes great pleasure in contributing to their fundraising efforts and departments. A price match of $1,361.00 will be going to Wittenberg Ambulance for their 50/50 raffle earnings, and $300 will be going to Wittenberg Fire Department in show of appreciation for lending a helping hand when needed.
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg is tremendously grateful for services provided by the Wittenberg Area Ambulance and Fire Departments in providing services to those in attendance of our facility and surrounding areas. Knowing skilled and caring workers were available in case any emergency need happened to arise allowed all in attendance to enjoy the summer concerts in a fun and carefree way.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg held a Book Drive Event from March 24 – April 29, 2023, in partnership with the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, through the Transformational Leadership Program’s Literacy Group. All guests and community members were invited to bring donations of new or gently used books ranging from the novice to expert reader.
Through the book drive, generous community members donated close to 800 books. “Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg’s guests are some of the most giving people, and there was no doubt this book drive would be a huge success; and success it was,” stated Jessica White Wing Clark, Senior Manager Public Relations at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg.
The Literacy Group’s goal was to help place books in areas accessible to children and adults alike. With that goal in mind, a partnership with two great organizations, Community Partners Campus of Wausau and the Marathon County Literacy Council came about. Tara Glodowski, Executive Director of Community Partners Campus stated “The literacy project has been a welcome addition to Community Partners Campus. Having reading material available for guests of all ages to enjoy on campus and to take with them has been enjoyed by many.”

Wittenberg, WI – November, 2021
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg proudly participated in Movember’s annual fundraising campaign through a “Coins for a Cause” drive in November. Movember is an organization that is uniquely placed to address the crisis on men’s health. Globally, men die on average 5 years earlier than women, and for reasons that are largely preventable. Which means that it doesn’t have to be that way: there is action that can be taken to live healthier, happier and longer lives.
During the month, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg invited guests to participate in the Coins for a Cause promotion every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to the national coin shortage, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg offered guests a chance to exchange up to $50 in Cash or donate that amount of change to receive double the value in Rewards Play. Not only did this help our local commerce in producing coins, but it helped to replenish Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg’s coin supply.
The Coins for a Cause drive held at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg exhibited the communities desire to help the leading charity dedicated to changing the face of men’s health in the U.S. and around the world. Fletcher Collins, Executive Manager stated, "We are grateful to all who participated in this promotional effort to support this organization and their efforts. Our local Community came through strongly!" Alongside guest’s contributions, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg committed to match $5,000 in donation raised. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg was able to present Movember with a total charitable giving of over $10,000.
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg is appreciative to partner with Movember, who is working to tackle key health issues faced by men and to encourage men to stay healthy in all areas of their life, with a focus on men staying socially connected and becoming more open to discussing their health and significant moments in their lives. To donate or learn more, please visit movember.com. Movember is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.

Wittenberg, WI – October, 2021
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg had the pleasure of hosting a variety of Food Trucks throughout the month. Due to the food and beverage venues being unavailable for Casino guests on Mondays and Tuesdays, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg quickly provided an option for guests and the public. It rapidly became a successful schedule of events and an unforeseen tourism effort.
Many guests and the local community expressed their appreciation to Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg for making a food venue available to them as there are limited dining options in the Wittenberg area. The goal was to provide a dining option to Casino guests, but it became a successful tourism effort by attracting guests from towns away to travel to Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg in hopes to try out a new option.
A total of six different food trucks set-up for business at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg. Taco Tones Food Truck, Everthang Taco, Red Wagon Concessions, Hula Hut, Aftershock Smokers and SmokeHouse Barbeque came from as far as Green Bay, Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point and as close as Tigerton and Wittenberg. Food Truck owners including, Anthony Swett of Taco Tones Food Truck of Green Bay, expressed their interest in returning to Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg due to the successes.
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg’s Executive Manager, Fletcher Collins, stated “We are thankful to these business owners for their willingness to come to our property and share their variety of food offers”. We would also like to thank the guests who contributed to the efficacious efforts. A special thanks to the different business owners for establishing business-to-business relationships to make a dining option available to guests and the local community.

Wittenberg, WI – December, 2020
This past Holiday season, giving back had a whole new meaning. Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg hoped to make a difference in our local communities by providing donations to various not for profit organizations.
2020 has taken a toll on everyone, especially on local non-profit organizations. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg was very fortunate to be able to host the Coins for a Cause drive which has continuously contributed to various community outreach efforts.
The Holidays can be a tough time for many and Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg believes in the importance of giving back to the community. Throughout past years, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg Employees have participated in the Wittenberg/Birnamwood Giving Tree Program to spread some holiday cheer and help those in need. This past holiday season, there was a dramatic increase from 125 recipients to over 200 families in need. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ho-Chunk Gaming employees were unable to bring in items as they are used to, but that didn’t stop Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg from being involved. The Giving Tree Program was awarded a $2,000 monetary donation in order to help fulfil those Holiday wishes. Nancy Nueske, program coordinator, showed gratitude as Ho-Chunk has been involved in this program for six consecutive years. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg is happy to make a difference in the community knowing the funds are used to purchase gifts for families in need during the holiday season.
As the COVID 19 pandemic continues to affect everyone, small businesses have also struggled to remain open so we decided to host a Season of Giving campaign each week throughout December and provided a $500 monetary donation to four local non-profit organizations. The Season of Giving Campaign was inspired by the nationally known “Giving Tuesday”, but Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg decided tweak it to their own, thus Season of Giving was established. Every Monday in December a local non-profit in surrounding counties such as Shawano, Langlade, Marathon and Brown were given priority. The four non-profits that received this award were Big Brother Big Sister of Northcentral Wisconsin, Forget me Not Fund, Shawano Area Matthew 25 and Wittenberg Area Historical Society.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northcentral Wisconsin has been serving at-risk youth since 1976. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northcentral Wisconsin is the gold standard in youth mentoring. By matching children with a positive role model, they are building stronger communities one relationship at a time. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northcentral Wisconsin benefits youth with Adverse Childhood Experiences through mentoring programs that build leadership, provides positive experiences, relationships and academic success. Linda Koepke, Co-Executive Director, expressed her appreciation to Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg for continuously showed support throughout the years.
The Forget Me Not Fund, Inc. originated from The Forget Me Not Fall Fashion Show, which was started by the Wolf River Dementia Network in 2007 as a fundraising effort to support the Greater Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association educational conferences. With continued hard work, and support from volunteers and local businesses, the event has continued to grow, giving even greater opportunity for supporting more local area families caring for loved ones with dementia. Due to the pandemic there has been a lack of funding for the Forget Me Not Fund, Inc. Proceeds from Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg will be used to provide local education and awareness and to support the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Shawano Area Matthew 25, or SAM25, mission is “We help those affected by poverty improve their circumstances to become self-sufficient.” During the pandemic, SAM25 shelter is operating at maximum capacity with all rooms being full. Many of their guests are new to homelessness and have been deeply affected by job and housing losses due to COVID-19. The donation will be used to help in purchasing new cots for their current guests and allowing more guests to be sheltered. SAM25 has recently moved to a newly renovated office. Usually SAM25 raised a third of their operating budget through their annual event, “Empty Bowls, Caring Hearts”, but due to the pandemic they were unable to host this event. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg has been a continuous sponsor of this event, and although this year it was not held, an “intake office” sponsorship at the new shelter presented itself.
The last non-profit selected to receive the “Season of Giving” monetary donation was the Wittenberg Area Historical Society. Established in 1973, the Society preserves artifacts, manuscripts, and photographs of the Wittenberg area. They store various public documents including assessment rolls, plat books, etc. dating back to the 1880s. There are different display areas that include military, schools, kitchen, parlor, logging, Native American, country stores and much more. They highly rely on funding through memberships and donations. This year the building needed attention, costing a significant amount higher than their annual budget. The donation from Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg will immensely aid in restoring the museum.
All the stated non-profits are continually accepting donations and volunteer work. For more information, please feel free to reach out to Public Relations at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg.

Wittenberg, WI – September 2020
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg partners with a local business, Resch Lanes, to provide Wittenberg-Birnamwood area Health Care Personnel and First Responders with a 3-week lunch series of free lunches which began on September 14 from 11am – 1pm. This effort was a byproduct of the “Coins for a Cause” drive held by Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg.
The Coins for a Cause drive was held to aid the impact Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg endured during the National coin shortage. The drive was better than anticipated. With the outpouring success of the drive, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg wanted to give back to our local community members, while utilizing a local business.
"Having companies that appreciate the community they do business in and give back to those people that directly help others is what makes living in our area great. We are proud to partner with Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg to provide lunch for the essential workers in our area," said Jason Resch, owner of Resch Lanes.
“We are honored that we are able to help our community. It is with great gratitude that we aid in this drive to help out those who help us.” Fletcher Collins, Executive Manager of Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg, reflected on the lunch series.
“Lunch on Us” was envisioned to be a three-day lunch series over a span of three weeks. Participants came from the Aspirus Clinic, Marshfield Clinic, Homme Home of Wittenberg, Wittenberg Ambulance, Wittenberg Fire Department, Wittenberg EMTs and EMRs. We were pleased to have over 100 meals provided to these essential workers who have worked non-stop through the COVID Pandemic.
As many are aware, the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted small businesses in many rural communities. We at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg enjoy being able to support these businesses by not only having their business host events, but being able to positively publicize them on their efforts to give back to their communities and essential workers.
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg looks forward to partner with additional local businesses to give back to our community members during the pandemic and to those who were impacted.
Wittenberg, WI – August 12, 2020
A beautiful day filled with warmth from the sun and a large charitable donation brought an abundance of smiles and gratitude. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg presented a $10,000 check to the Homme Home of Wittenberg through the community effort of raising "Coins for a Cause" held from July 20-31.
"Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." Like many nationwide, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg was suffering with a coin shortage. A Public Relations strategy was quickly developed with a goal to raise and match $5,000 to be donated to a local business within the community; a "win-win" for the facility and the business to receive the donation.
The Coins for a Cause drive held at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg showcased that Wittenberg area members are dedicated to helping local non-profits and organizations and helped raise over $10,000 for a charitable donation to the Homme Home of Wittenberg. Within three days the goal was met and coins continued to trickle in. "Not only did we create a buzz about Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg but we were able to help a local business in-need," said Tracy Pecore, Director of Marketing.
Executive Manager of Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg, Fletcher Collins stated, "We are delighted to be able to contribute to the local Homme Home of Wittenberg with this donation. The Homme Home has been a staple in this community, providing service to our Family's in this area from generations, and we are honored to be able to contribute to their abilities to serve."
Due to the pandemic, there has been restrictions on visitation and outings for the residents, which has significantly changed their everyday lives. Kathy Unverzagt, Foundation Coordinator said, "We plan to use the funding towards purchasing a new handicapped accessible bus to allow our residents to gain enjoyment with outings in our local and surrounding communities." Lack of visitation has psychosocially impacted residents and Homme is acquiring technology to begin virtual visits to see loved ones. In addition to residents being affected, Homme has faced challenges in procuring personal protective equipment, medical supplies and sanitization and cleaning supplies due to increasing prices and availability.
As Homme is a non-profit provider in a rural community, a large percentage of Homme's residents are funded through the Medicaid and Family Care programs, in which the state does not pay for the full cost of care. The lack of adequate state reimbursement and increased costs make it difficult for Homme to purchase a handicapped accessible bus on its own for the enjoyment of their residents.
Homme residents have shared gratitude to the community for coming together in raising funds, sending letters and artwork, providing activities for residents and dropping off sweet treats during the pandemic. Justin Cieslewicz, Executive Director said, "Homme would like to again thank Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg for their generous donation to our residents. It is fortunate to be in part of a wonderful community in which organizations are working to support each other during difficult times."
Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg looks forward to Homme Residents being able to visit the local community and their loved ones after the pandemic. If you are interested in donating to Homme Home of Wittenberg, please visit their website.
Wittenberg, WI – On Monday, June 29, 2020
After 14 weeks of being closed, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg anxiously reopened the facility doors; with new health and safety standards to help reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19 to both customers and employees.
As 8am fast-approached, team huddles were taking place inside the facility to go over any last-minute details awaiting guests to enter. Just before 8am, Executive Manager, Fletcher Collins welcomed a line of enthusiastic guests eager to enter the doors to begin playing the machines they have missed; greeted by the top halves of employee's smiling faces and a display of balloon arches.
Customers showed their anticipation by going live on their personal Facebooks with some shouting, "If you're not first, you're last". Throughout the morning, live remotes took place from three Wausau stations including WIFC, WOZZ and WDEZ. Broadcasters from these stations were enthused by the excitement some guests showed, including one of their own, who is a regular Ho-Chunk Gaming guest.
Varieties of new measures have been adapted into becoming the norm of the new casino culture. Upon entering the facility, guests are required to sanitize hands prior, wear a facemask or shield and pass a temperature check of under 100°. Social distancing markers have been placed on the gaming floor along with additional hand sanitation stations in high traffic areas. We also offer complimentary drinks by Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg staff avoid unsanitary self-serve beverage stations. Another extreme measure that has been implemented across the six Ho-Chunk Gaming facilities is a 100% smoke-free facility with a designated smoking area outside. We have also secured the services of ODM Madison to apply Zoono Microbe Shield; a surface sanitizer lasting up to 30 days.
Ho-Chunk Gaming is now open for to the public! Hours are as follows: Sunday-Thursday from 8am-Midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 8am-2am. Stop on by for your favorite gaming experience!
Hotel and Food and Beverage options will be available at a later date.
Wittenberg, WI - March 2020
With many Casino Closures in place, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg did not let food go to waste. On March 24, over 20 local tribal elders received a care package with dairy and produce hand delivered by members of the local Tribal Aging Unit. All proceeds will be distributed to the elderly with some used for meals that are being delivered; to help maintain social distancing.
As we continue to monitor and continue to better understand how to slow the spread of COVID -19 we want to do all we can to keep our guests, employees and communities safe.
Wittenberg, WI- December 2019
Tis the Season to give back to our local community. This holiday season, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg has experienced the joys of giving back.
Each year, HCGW encourages employees to partake in the Giving Tree Program, which benefits local families who are not fortunate enough to supply their children with Christmas presents. This year Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg took a different approach to this internal effort. For each "mitten" fulfilled, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg matched the value of the presents bought. There was a total of 29 mittens fulfilled, totaling out to $1,996.50. Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg rounded up to $2,000 to donate to the Giving Tree Program of Wittenberg-Birnamwood area.
The Giving Tree Program had a total of 168 mittens fulfilled in the Wittenberg-Birnamwood area for 2019. The Wittenberg-Birnamwood program began over 30 years ago with only 8 people helping and has grown throughout the community tremendously. This is the ninth year Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg has partaken, but the first matching the value of each mitten.
In addition to the Giving Tree Program, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg held a food drive hosted by our Security Department to all employees to participate. There was a total of 754 items donated to the Wittenberg Food Pantry in early December 2019.
"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." -Winston Churchill

On March 29, 2012, President Barack Obama proclaimed March 29, 2012, as Vietnam Veterans Day. The proclamation called "upon all Americans to observe this day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities that commemorate the 50-year anniversary of the Vietnam War."
Five years later On March 28, 2017, President Trump signed into law the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017. This Act officially recognizes March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day and is a law that states that the flag of the United States be displayed "especially on Vietnam War Veterans Day"
In honor of our Vietnam Veterans and in accordance with the proclamation and law, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg proudly hosted our annual Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony on our facility grounds in Wittenberg on March 29, 2022.
“People don’t realize, we went, and had to do what was done” said Keynote speaker, Daniel King during part of his speech. Mr. King is a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Army as an Army Ranger from 1970 until he was Honorably Discharged in 1975. Mr. King shared statistical information on American lives lost during the Vietnam Conflict, which are memorialized on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington DC. He then spoke of his interest in writing. Which led him to begin writing of his experiences in Vietnam, in poetry. Daniel is a member of the Oneida Nation, Turtle clan, of the Iroquois Nation. His Oneida name is He has two hearts.
The Lake Delton Singers sang the Hocak Flag Song while community Veterans Errol Sid White Wing (Vietnam Veteran), Corwin Roth, Pamela Wilber, Eric Lemieux, Scott Mabry and Tim Landowski raised the ceremony’s flags. Mrs. Wisconsin America made a passionate speech in support of her appreciation of those that serve in the military and her work to bring awareness to the Fisher House Foundation, which builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. Karen Schairer of Birnamwood, and owner of Schairer’s Autumn Acres, sang a cappella, the National Anthem. The American Legion Post Birnamwood Darling-Gunderson Post 341 boar the colors, and performed the 21-gun salute, and played the taps during the ceremony.
Executive Manager, Fletcher Collins, draped a Pendleton Blanket over Daniel King as a thank you for being a Vietnam Veteran and coming and sharing his story as the Keynote speaker. The Master of Ceremonies, Dylan Prescott stated, “We’ve been honoring our veterans since the beginning of time’” and then introduced an honorary Army song to be sung in honor of keynote speaker, Daniel King, by the Lake Delton Singers.
Mr. Prescott closed the ceremony with thanks to the Ho-Chunk Nation, all of our Vietnam Veterans and all those that attended and ended by saying “Pįnagigiwįno” (commonly used as thank you to more than one person in the Hocak language), to the audience.

Happy Holidays from Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg.
WITTENBERG, WI - December 17, 2018
Tis the Season to give back to our local community. This holiday season, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg has experienced the joys of giving back. In collective efforts, Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg held an internal food drive to benefit Wittenberg Food Pantry and participated in the Giving Tree Program held by the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Education Committee.
Employees of Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg participated in a food drive and brought in non-perishable food items to benefit the Wittenberg Food Pantry. With an abundance of 60-65 families per month receiving assistance, the 530 non-perishable food items was a great contribution. "The Food Drive was awesome and tremendous! We appreciate the people in the community and the employees of Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg that support us," said Tammy Meverden of Wittenberg food pantry.
In addition to a food drive to benefit the local Wittenberg community, the Giving Tree Program took place for the eighth year in a row. This year, 30 mittens were filled to help brighten the holiday season for 15 girls and 15 boys; ranging in ages of 3 months to 12 years old. The Giving Tree Program is a community effort to provide gifts, monetary donations and other supplies needed during the holiday season. The generosity of employees was exceptional, as the efforts put forth are on their own time and dollar. During this holiday season remember "it's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving".
Happy Holidays from Ho-Chunk Gaming Wittenberg.
